As a tourist commuting around the island may be one of your major concerns. The Queen Beatrix Airport is located off the southern coast and one can hire jeeps, scooters, bicycles, cars and limousines at nominal rates for commuting around the island. You can either hire someone to drive it for you or you can drive it yourself. Taxis are established by the Government, are commonly rated, tips are 10% and one should also note that everyone drives on the right hand side of the road.Accommodation
To have a peaceful, enjoyable holiday one should find a good place to stay. Aruba offers a wide range of accommodation from luxury hotels to beach resorts to apartments and even guest houses. The winter season from January to March is the most expensive and most crowded.Travel around Aruba will truly be a memorable experience if you keep these brief tips in mind. You can wear casual summer wear but be careful to have some special sets for casinos and high rise restaurants. Do not worry about the safety of drinking water in the island, the water is desalinated and purified and safe for drinking.
